Also, I don't have Phase, but if I did, it would be awesome. Not as awesome as Rock Band, though.

Which leads me back to the fact that more Muse would be awesome in Rock Band.

I should look into Phase...I've got a 30GB iPod and I'm only using about 7GB of it. Is it free? I really don't care if it is or not, but I really don't know too much about it.

Phase is HMX's rhythm game for the ipod. If you've ever played Frequency or Amplitude for the PS2 then you kind of get the gist of Phase. It's got three "tracks" that coincide with the left, center, and right buttons on your ipod and the gameplay is similar to RB or GH. It uses some fancy-pants programming to allow you to import whatever songs you want from your itunes library in to the game which gives you a pretty much infinite set list. The charting for each song is based on the entire song so there are certainly times where the button presses and the beat of the music don't really match up. However, considering what they're working with (an ipod and whatever music you choose) they've done a pretty amazing job of making the game playable. I've noticed that songs with a solid beat seem to work the best. A lot of techno music fits pretty well and songs like Supermassive Black Hole seem to work pretty well too. The graphics are simple but brightly colored and very sharp. The game is a lot of fun and is a good way to pass the time if you're sitting on a bus or waiting for a plane or whatever.

Phase is $5 in the itunes store so it's a pretty good deal.

Back on topic! I was listening to Plug in Baby yesterday and I couldn't get over how great that song would be in RB. ESPECIALLY if they could rig it up so that the crowd sings along with the chorus.

You and those singing crowds! Plug in Baby would be epic for RB though...that's near the top of my list of songs I'd love to see in the game.
