I've only experienced one instance of Muse-related self-awareness, in that sushi place where I thought "They're gonna play Muse, just watch," and they played Starlight.
I have experienced very scary (in the scarily accurate sense) self-awareness with Radiohead and The Killers in the past two days. Not just any song of theirs, but the radio played the exact song I was thinking of at the time.

woofmix, the bright green pants are necessary. If not the green, pick some other loud and bright color of pants to wear at least once in the documentary.
    Gamertag: Patheticacy
    DLC songs: 67
DLC strongly supported: Muse, Radiohead, actual Blur
    Virtual Baked Goods: 14.5
    I was once a spork.

Lol Ok I worked neon green pants into the rock band documentary

I also got a piano joke in there

Also they play Supermassive Black Hole at our school all the time. It is what most of my friends think when they think Muse.

Once on the school tv broadcast thing they played butterflies and hurricanes so yay for them

Hey, not a bad song to think of, I'd say.

I haven't really had any crazy telepathic connections to things as of late but my ipod continues to read my mind, as expected. On a related note, I'm not sure if any of you have this "problem" but I have 5000+ songs on my ipod. most of the time I just put it on shuffle because I like to pretend I want variety in my music. Then, a Muse song will pop up and I'll end up switching and listening to just Muse. I always feel kind of bad about it but I never get tired of their music!

Yes. Period. More Muse DLC would be greatly welcomed.

I love Muse... and I love seeing that this thread has grown to about 350 pages long (the last time I posted in this thread it was at page 20 - 50 something I believe)!

At any rate, I LOVE playing Hysteria on the drums, and it was so awesome to finally get a piece of what we all have wanted for a while in RockBand: ANY Muse!

Funny though, that every time I read something about Muse from people, they all seem to love Supermassive Black Hole, and that's the ONE song from Muse that I really, really do not like. Even when I saw them in concert, everyone jumped for joy for that song, while I crossed my arms and sat down instead... Heh, am I weird?

LOL I can't give you final judgement on your weirdness but I don't think that disliking a song condemns you.

I think that the reason everyone seems to love SMBH so much is because it's the kind of song that appeals to a huge audience. It appeals to [most] Muse fans, it appeals to rock fans, and it appeals to R&B fans as well. With a song like that, you'll have more people like it just by default. This kind of thing happens to a lot of bands. They'll put out X amount of albums and have a set fanbase and then they'll have a song on a newer album that just blows up and that ends up being the introduction to the band for a lot of people. SMBH is that song for Muse. Some people call that "selling out" but for Muse I'd call it "branching out". I am a huge fan of all things Muse (who knew?) and I love their old stuff but I really like their new stuff as well. I don't know where I'm going with this. I hope I answered your question!

Do you guys think Map of the Problematique could be done in Rock Band? Easily my favorite song, sick drums too =)

I've been waiting for Stockholm Syndrome, i thought it would have already been on there, but i guess not. I love Muse. I want all their songs.

I try and use shuffle on my mp3 player, and my car stereo daily but it never works. I always just end up listening to muse the entire day at work, and the entire drive home. This drove my wife crazy for a few weeks, but eventually she learned to love muse almost as much as myself

I've been trying to listen to other music lately.. for the last 3 months.. but I seem to never stop wanting to listen to muse.
