I am SOOO excited for the new The Who DLC! It's going to be awesome!
I really enjoyed some of The Cars DLC (Let the good times roll!) and the Pixies stuff was okay (I'm sad that Where is My Mind isn't DLC) but I've actually been more disapointed in the new music they've been putting up. The MTV2 pack was pretty good but IMO picking the newest songs from Motley Crue, Offspring, Papa Roach, and Disturbed wasn't a great idea. I would've rather seen older stuff from all of those bands (especially the Offspring).
But regardless of my personal opinion of the music released, I think that HMX is doing a wonderful job of putting out a variety of music. With the latest DLC they've put out so many different (and surprising) artists that there's pretty much something for everyone in RB now and I think that is the key to a successful rhythm game franchise. No matter what you release, there will always be people that don't like it [see: Diablo III ] and there will always be people that like it. I think HMX has done a pretty damned good job of trying to put something for everyone in RB.
Hey, you know what would make a lot of people really happy (and simultaneously make a few people mad)? HAARP for DLC!!!
"The present fray had turn'd my thoughts to Muse" - Dante Alighieri
Knights of Cydonia and Supermassive Black Hole are my favorite Muse songs. Any Rock band Muse Pack should include those 2.
also, ****s.
Wants: Tool - Push1t, Eulogy, Lateralus, Vicarious; 3DD - Kryptonite; U2 - Pride; Nickelback - Good Times Gone, Follow You Home.

We know, and we know.
I love Muse. I like their studio albums but their Live stuff is amazing.
I'm kind of excited for the Who though, I'll probably download like 3 of the songs just because Baba O' Riley and Who Are You sound like fun. But speaking of The Offspring, Disturbed, Motley Crue and Papa Roach...I believe the only reason they released those songs is to help promote their new albums. It's kind of a cheap plug but if it gets people to buy the album or download a couple of their songs...why not?
I definitely want some of the Offspring's older stuff like Can't Repeat, Come Out and Play, Self Esteem, Gotta Get Away, Gone Away, and Pretty Fly (For a White Guy). The new Motley Crue cd isn't bad...it's just Motley Crue that's all. As for the Disturbed songs those are just the lead singles from the album so that makes since...although I would've like The Night over Inside the Fire personally.
But back on the topic of Muse...any Muse is good Muse. I want Plug in Baby, Citizen Erased, Time is Running Out, Stockholm Syndrome, Thoughts of a Dying Atheist, Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Map of the Problematique, Invincible, Exo-Politics, and Knights of Cydonia. I don't know about playing Live songs on Rock Band (makes me think of GH Def Leppard songs). But like I said any Muse is good.
My most wanted Muse songs: New Born, Plug In Baby, Thoughts of a Dying Athiest, Assasin, Knights of Cydonia, and Stockholm Syndrome (I mean come on, there's a venue in RB1 called Stockholm Synthdrome)
Welcome to the cause, new peeps. :]
I agree on all song choices. Then again. It's Muse. They have songs that would kick ass and songs that wouldn't work (because of the piano). Not much middle ground.
I have been obsessing over Origin of Symmetry lately. It's been all I've listened to in the car for at least a week.
And I now officially cannot order the albums as to how much I like them. Way too close. I give up.
Would make great full-album DLC if not for Space Dementia and Megalomania.
Gamertag: Patheticacy
DLC songs: 67
DLC strongly supported: Muse, Radiohead, actual Blur
Virtual Baked Goods: 14.5
I was once a spork.
I have to agree. When I started listening to Muse I began with Absolution because everyone told me that CD was awesome. I like it so much that I went with Black Holes & Revelations and fell in love with it. Afterwards I bought Origin of Symmetry then Showbiz. I'm not too fond of Showbiz because it's a little slow for my taste, but I love the other 3 albums. I think we deserve a Muse 12 pack. How about:
New Born
Plug in Baby
Citizen Erased
Time is Running Out
Stockholm Syndrome
Thoughts of a Dying Atheist
Starlight
Supermassive Black Hole
Map of the Problematique
Invincible
Exo-Politics
Knights of Cydonia
I would buy all 12 of these songs...actually I would buy any Muse song. Harmonix can we please please have all 4 albums as DLC?
