I'd die especially happy when I died. But I'd have to live longer, because they'd probably release more Muse.
And there's the whole living thing. That's a pretty cool thing to do.
But one thing I'd be certain to do would be to scream and run around in circles and be sure to live to play them.
Wireless instruments would be great. But the only thing I'm replacing with RB2 will be the drum set, as both my guitars are perfectly fine (I hope the peripherals will be available standalone at release. Don't think it's likely, though.) and the USB mic should work with anything. Still, wireless drums sound awesome, though wireless guitars would be better because guitarists and guitars actually move around sometimes. With wires, fewer is more.
Boy when GHWT comes out I'm going to have more fake drums than I can deal with. o_o The green pad on my RB1 drums finally buckled the other day (Object heavier than drumstick + Electric Version on Hard = Green Pad Is Screwed), and they already drop notes all over the place (Especially the yellow pad). Well, the warranty's dead anyway, so I think I'll just wait for RB2 to replace my drums. The ones I have are passable (If I can get some drumsticks) for now, and hopefully will remain so until September.
HAARP would only be awesome if it were done right. If they did a crappy job with it, I'd be severely disappointed.
If they did a crappy job with it, they'd probably scrap it and either start over or resort to studio tracks. They wouldn't release something well knowing it's very flawed unlike a certain company I know.
Sveppi:Please!
Should I PM you my email address?
I should get an avatar.
I think the Spork will work nicely.
And in case I haven't said it, The Groove would be superfantastic.

Diddnt you hear? The warnity has been extended til october first. My green pad died a few weeks ago also. On Still Alive o.O (go figure) I like my avatar but if I find a sport I will change it.
Now, I am gonna ask a very serious question.
Can Muse be the next who?
think about it.
Crazy drum solos and or drum rolls, fabulous guitar work. Bass is great. Singer is awesome/also song writter?
Keyboard and piano stuff?
Why not?

In the most recent fake leak for Rock Band 2, Hyper Music was the honorary Muse song. What do you all think of that?
Would you pay for music by Beck?
Maybe.
What if you heard he owned a plane made of gold?
Sure.
Good, because he needs the money.
I'm in the same boat. My drums are pretty much a write off. The yellow one cracked quite badly (I'm and angry drummer, what can I say) so I switched it to the blue spot thinking that blue would take less abuse. Turns Out I was wrong and now the blue pad's got a nice crater in the middle of it and it sounds like I'm hitting a bag of marbles when I hit it. I'm most likely going to pick up the full version of RB2 and then get rid of my RB1 drums. I'll probably keep the guitar so I'll have two.
You bring up some good similarities but this kind of question can only bring scary conflict and arguement. It's really impossible to answer a question like that, even if you think about it seriously. There's no way to know which bands will stand the test of time. Also, comparing a newer band, regardless of their skill, to a classic band that has such a huge following can only end one way, by bursting into flames.

On the other hand, I'm not sure what whacking the green pad Electric Version style with half a toy golf club (not the business end, though, the handle) will do to my warranty. But I guess they don't have to know that.
They're not that bad yet, though. The note dropping's most likely due to the fact that I have the EL model, and all the pads respond well enough for me to play drums to my ability (I don't have to worry about not being able to FC things because I can't even do that with the perfect drum set) and likely will until September rolls around.
Ooh, link to the fake leak please?
