They're not that bad yet, though. The note dropping's most likely due to the fact that I have the EL model, and all the pads respond well enough for me to play drums to my ability (I don't have to worry about not being able to FC things because I can't even do that with the perfect drum set) and likely will until September rolls around.

Ooh, link to the fake leak please?
Just an FYI, you can get a cheap set of drumsticks for $5 or less at Guitar Center. Or pretty much any music store. That way you wouldn't have to beat the crap out of your drums on Electric Version. When you get to Orange Crush or Run to the Hills on Expert your drums will thank you.

Yeah, I'd like to see the fake link too.
Would you pay for music by Beck?
    Maybe.
What if you heard he owned a plane made of gold?
    Sure.
Good, because he needs the money.

It's a matter of getting out there that's the problem. I haven't been on that side of town in a while. Maybe for my next driving practice, I'll go out there and get some new drumsticks.
It was a quick two-in-the-morning replacement, though. We wanted to play drums, so we started using everything we could as a drumstick. A snorkle, a wooden kitchen spoon, a chopstick, a miniature rubber chicken, and of course, half a toy golf club.
I don't think I will ever get to RttH on Expert. x_o

I had to laugh at some of those replacement items. Also, I didn't think I'd ever get to RttH on Expert, and well, I'm still not there, but I'll get there eventually.

Breaking it in half was the more amusing part.
I've hardly started on Expert drums (I hit a wall at Tier 2), but I'm getting there slowly. Very very slowly. At the rate I'm going RB2 will be out well before I can get even to Tier 5. And then I'll have a nice new fake drumset. Woo.

Wow, that "leak" looks pretty darn realistic. I have to say I'd love to play Hyper Music, too.

549 yes votes for the poll. Seems popular enough.

And 134 more like Muse, but want to adjust the pack.
    The PR transmissions will resume.

Needless to say, I'm psyched that newer better drums are on their way from a company that is NOT Activision.
Once I get ahold of RB2 and all of it's updated, hopefully non-buggy equipment, I'm throwing all of RB's instruments in my backyard, beating the hell out of them with my great-grandfather's coal shovel and setting them on fire. I will then proceed to roast hot dogs and marshmallows over them and cross my fingers that the melting plastic fumes aren't poisoning my cookout.

Then I'll go play some Muse.
