Tiny: Wayne. How you doin'?
Wayne Campbell: Hey, Tiny, who's playing today?
Tiny: Jolly Green Giants and the ****ty Beetles.
Wayne Campbell: ****ty Beetles? Are they any good?
Tiny: They suck.
Wayne Campbell: Then it's not just a clever name.
Long Live Waynes World!!!
The Beatles, big news.

Time to support Muse again.
I had a hard time narrowing it down to 3 (ended up having to cut Limelight (Original Version) for Constant Motion).

Muse, Disturbed and Stephen and the Colberts FTW!
So I have this tradition every year that starts the day before Thanksgiving and ends the day after Christmas. I listen to nothing but Christmas music for a solid month, give or take a few days. A local radio station plays nothing but Christmas music during this time, so it all coincides nicely. You're probably wondering why I do this, and I have two very good reasons.
1. I <3 the Christmas season. Christmas music makes it even better.
2. My break from real music makes me appreciate it more come December 26. In order to stop myself from stabbing whoever is closest to me in the eye with a turkey baster full of hot gravy on Christmas Eve after hearing Mariah Carey screeching "All I Want for Christmas is You" for the 5,000th time (the radio station does play the bad songs more than I'd like), I remind myself that real music is right around the corner, and I go right back to being my holly jolly self. Maybe I'm a bit of a sadist...
I've brought this up here because this year I've given the honor of "last dibs" on my real music to Muse. I usually listen to Metallica or something before the hiatus, but everything I've been listening to has been boring me lately, except Muse. So here's to hoping that I get enough of a Muse fixation in the next month! A Muse pack would help this exponentially though.
I also brought it up because I'd like to see if anyone else thinks that a Muse take on some holiday classics would be awesome. "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" with an arpeggio synth? Hell yeah!

Indeed. Yesterday I was discussing this with my gf (a HUGE Beatles fan) and we decided that we would've rather had Beatles DLC for RB than a whole new game. However, after reading what Paul, Ringo, and Olivia had to say about the project, I'm interested to see what comes out of it.
Anyway, BACK on topic!
If Muse did a christmas song, I'd want it to be Blue Christmas or Winter Wonderland.
So I want to share something RB2 related with you guys. I've been charging through the tour mode, trying to open up as much as I can before Friday since a bunch of people will be here for a party and I know that RB will inevitably be played. I'm close to the end (just finished the Rolling Stone 8 song thing) and I have to say, I'm kinda disappointed. The first 3/4 of the track list is pretty awesome. I found lots of songs early on that I was happy to play but then when you get to the end where there should be some really good stuff, all I see is death metal and "nu-metal" and all that shouty, grunty business. I hate the feeling that I've run through so much of the game and now, so close to the end, I don't want to play anymore because I don't want to play any of those songs.
Okay, done venting. On a related note, how quickly would your head have exploded in excitement if Knights of Cydonia or Hyper Music or Plug in Baby was one of the last tracks you opened in RB2 and HMX just forgot to put it the tracklist announcement? That would've made it all worth while imo.

Hysteria does sum up my feelings about that piano I want...
Blue Christmas would be sweeeeeeet.
Do you think maybe Fallout 3 has stolen some of RB2's thunder?
If HMX did forget to list one of those songs, I'd have to have someone on standby with carpet cleaner, because light blue carpets and head blood are not friends.
