That was Paramore. Their two songs on the Twilight Soundtrack are pretty damn good, but I am an un-abashed Hayley fan.
I actually read the Twilight series. Stephanie Meyer does indeed thank Muse in every one of the books. It helped me convince my Sister and Girlfriend to give them a listen. Now my Girlfriend wont let me leave a Karaoke bar unless I sing Supermassive Black Hole. Let me tell you, that Falsetto is brutal.
Yeah singing like Matt when he uses falsetto is torture, I've done a guitar/vocal KoC cover and my singing can't even touch Matt's by a longshot (had to avoid the falsetto sections entirely) luckily my guitar playing makes up for it (pardon the sound quality, it was originally in stereo and youtube puts it in mono dampening the volume a bit).

But wow Supermassive Black Hole went under the radar then? Shame, but oh well might be for the best. I think the "Symphonic Monster" should win over a lot of notoriety if they can pull it off.

Yeah a good tip for anyone trying to sing Muse at a K-Bar is to avoid the most common Karaoke mistake: Trying to sound like the actual singer. Just sing in your own key and you will be fine. I can actually sing Falsetto so it isn't too difficult, but on the songs where Bellamy changes tone throughout the song I just use my own voice how I want. Like on Starlight when he transitions to "Hold you in my arms" just use your natural singing voice. You will sound like an idiot if you try to emulate Bellamy.
Yeah I sing mostly shoegaze so jumping to singing in a more active voice like Matt's was a major stretch compared to a more passive style used for shoegaze.
