The negativity continues to astound me. If Muse is *continuing* to appear on disc songs *for either company*, doesn't that mean that these concerns about Warner cutting groups off was for naught? This news (if not rumor) I think puts the chances of getting more Muse dlc much higher than it was a few weeks ago. I mean, 1/4th of all GH:WT tracks are Rock Band DLC, and that number increases almost every week. The chances that we will get more Muse I think is much better now than it was before.

^ I concur. Also in retrospect if AC/DC got that live pack after they won their poll then that means there is the possibility we could get HAARP.

So everything considered the strongest possibilities of what we'll be getting are:

    - Absolution: We already have "Hysteria" and it was technically an on-disc song for the EU version of RB since being an on-disc artist also tends to be a qualifier for full album releases (though did Judas Priest's album release come before or after RB2?). Either way its the one release that would make the most sense.

    - HAARP: Based on the fact live tracks are definitely considered as seen by previous DLC tracks and I know for a fact that the tracks on HAARP should be usable given that a lot of work was done in mixing and production on it so that should mean the necessary tracks should be isolated and usable. Also my previous explanation of when AC/DC won their poll they ended up releasing that live album instead of a studio album so there is a chance that due to the incredibly long wait we have gone through for Muse especially given the high demand that HMX decided to be awesome and give us all of HAARP. So this would be the 2nd most likely release.

    - Black Holes & Revelations: This is only considered since it would be the most RB friendly album to work with as a full album release. Other than that it would be the least likely release out of these 3 due to no other reasons for using it besides it being the easiest to work with.

HAARP would be awesome, and it would give a lot of tracks that would be a bit boring new life (at least on Guitar). Time is Running out is a good example. Matt plays the piano bit on his guitar for HAARP, which instantly makes it way more enjoyable.

^Actually that piano bit is guitar.

And even at that they said that some of the DLC wouldn't be compatible.

Or it means that Activision gave into Warner's demand for more money, therefore sabotaging HMX, who actually stand on there principals and don't fold to the big bad record companies.

My Radiohead comment is going to apply to this one too. Plug In Baby is indeed in the game

    Part 3: (influenced): [In Progress]
    Editing and expanding:

    Part 3:

    1) People often mention that many parts of the song "These Walls" reminded them of some of Muse's songs, so I think that makes it a great choice.

    2) Clocks by Coldplay - in addition to being one of Coldplay's best songs, Martin says, "That was inspired by Muse”. It is piano heavy, but I *think* it works?

    3) Who Knows Who by The Streets and Muse - collab powa.

    Part 2:

Should Radiohead be included? Even on the Muse influences list, Radiohead is listed because the bands are often compared and sound similar--not because either band lists the other as an influence.

So, #1) Rush, 2112 -- Muse does list Rush as an influence, but no song in particular. However, I would choose 2112 because the song more than any other song makes me think of Muse--especially Knights of Cydonia, especially how the intro transitions into the second phrase starting at 1:32, and the long "hey" that Lee gives around 1:50 reminds me of the wail of Bellamy in KoC.

#2) The Flaming Lips, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots -- the question is which does this song remind me of more--Dom's pants at HAARP, or Matt's obsession with science fiction themes.

#3) Franz Ferdinand, No You Girls -- Almost every FF song in part reminds me of "Time is Running Out" because of the way they pace their songs. However, "No You Girls" has the unique place among FF songs that simultaneously reminds me of "Supermassive Black Hole" so I choose it over any other. The runner up would probably be Ulysses, which might be the perfect lead in to "Feeling Good", however just doesn't work for me as well as No You Girls.

#4) Queen, Don't Stop Me Now -- Howard's "Want to be played at my funeral" song.\

#5) Queens of the Stone Age, Like a Drug -- Lullabies to Paralyze were for a while Matt's "album I'm listening to"... from that album, I chose Like a Drug because a) Little Sister is already on RB, and b) because of the song from about 1:50-2:10. It would probably be one of the easiest songs in the game for most instruments, but I think would still be fun.

    #6) RATM, Guerilla Radio
