Collateral Damage is AMAZING!!!

Collateral Damage is Chopin Nocturne Op 9 No2 albeit a very good performance (with a bit of strings + effects). I hope they credit Chopin with it on the album.

Gah i love USoE however i just think it's too short! another 2 minutes say, would make it EPIC instead of just very good. It kinda feels incomplete. Tres excited for the rest of the album now though

I didn't bother to look to see if someone had posted this already (not sure how old this news is) so I will tell you!

I was at a music store today looking at vinyl records to see if I could somehow get lucky and find a copy of OoS on vinyl. I didn't find it but on the way out I decided to ask the guy at the counter if they ever get any Muse albums on vinyl. He checked the computer and found that Warner is rereleasing Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry, Absolution, and Black Holes & Revelations on vinyl on August 18th!!! I checked online today and they are indeed coming out. The day before my b-day! Happy Birthday to me!!!!!!!!! XD XD XD

I am completely surprised that everyone believes the current download is the true final version of the song, here, and on the muse message boards...

In listening to the second half of the song, it seems obvious that the Chopin ending is meant to be a consolation prize if the community failed to resist. I doubt that Muse would take a classic song and pretty well play it note for note without really incorporating it into the song (the current song seems like 2 songs lumped together back to back). Isn't it a bit odd that the last few minutes of the song could have been made entirely in about 10-15 minutes time?

It seems to me that the entire point of this hunt was to resist, and then eventually obtain the entire song by resisting. Instead, we did not resist, and so we ended up getting the non-resistance ending to the song. Be it that the current version of the song is still great, i can't help but feel like everyone has been duped.

Honestly, I hope you're right, because I really don't like the collateral damage part as it is being just Chopin's Nocturne Op 9 No2. I just get a bad feeling that this is the way the song is and we haven't been duped. I really hope I'm wrong though.

Everything before collateral damage was freaking awesome and I wish it would've went on a little longer.
