ATF, the thing to understand is, though, is that it's next to impossible to accurately author harmonies with only one vocal track. I'm going through the same s*** with Unicron (a band you'd probably never be in to), and it's really time consuming and near impossible. Not only that, but most of the time it'll sound really off if you author harmonies not matter if you're correct or not.
I'm not saying that this criticism is bad or anything. But I am saying that I at least understand his viewpoint.
I've charted vocal harmonies before, even vocal harmonies on one track. The difficulty is something that varies between people based on their understanding of music and music theory. I'm not saying that Ozone is being deliberately sloppy (although, that may be a possibility), I'm just saying that he should look for someone who knows what they're doing better, because charting harmonies on one track is not totally impossible, it's just the same as, say, charting chords on pro keys. Some people can do it better than others, but if someone can't, it's in their best interest to either get better or find someone who can do it.
