I also like it being unplayable as it's a distinct sound that signals to you the start of the song that people wouldn't be able to mute by misplaying.
Well, thanks for considering it. I'll have to settle for singing the noise instead.

This may be a sad reflection on my musical taste, but I think I'm more excited about the Pac-Man Fever stuff than I have been about almost everything else on the RBN so far.

Wow, I haven't been this excited for a track in a LOONGG time! I'm so happy that we are getting Blue, it will be a definite first day buy for me.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to get the Pac-Man fever song. Is it the whole album or is it just Pac-Man fever? That would be awesome if you got the whole thing, but are they orginals or are they remakes? Either way would be fine, I was just wondering. Lastly, if you are releasing the whole album, are you going to release it all at once or spread it out a few days or weeks because I'm dying to see some other preview videos!!

Anyways, thanks for all the work that you're doing and bringing some awesome keyboard tracks to the platform!

    Thank YOU for your support.

    1) As I announced previously, the entire album is coming to the RBN.

    2) These are the 1999 re-recordings. For the same reason these even exists, Buckner & Garcia were not given access to the original masters from the record label. The quality of these, due to being recorded on better equipment, is fantastic.

    3) The goal is to get them all released if not on the same day, within a few days of each other. This will be difficult to get organized with testers, but hopefully some great community members will assist with the timing on that.

Trust me, there will be more preview videos coming. I just have to, you know, finish up the tracks to the point of being presentable. Stay tuned.

Sounds great! Thanks for the quick reply! I was curious though to what you will do with the video game sounds? You can either chart them to an instrument, but they are so unique to song that you don't want anyone to "miss" it or misplay it, if you know what I mean. Sorry for the questions, but all this has got me excited!

    Glad I can help!

Before getting the tracks for the songs, this question crossed my mind as well . But, after listening to the instrumental pieces separated, I feel there's enough interesting parts for the actual instruments that they should be charted appropriately without deviating into parts not played by the actual band. Plus, as you mentioned, I don't want misplaying or whammy effects to alter the sounds.

However, I still wanted to do something with the game sounds. So, each song features a count-in crafted from them! I thought it was a fun little extra for the Rock Band versions of these tracks.

So it looks like this next Rangers season uses a redone version of the original theme.
Any chance of getting ahold of that one at least? Maybe it can open the door for some classics..

And has Ron commented on this new version? Just curious.
