This is Frank, bassist of Goin' Places. This new track "Be With Me" is one of 5 new Goin' Places tracks Fairwood Studios is releasing. We had originally hoped to release them all at once and offer a discount to anyone who bought all of them, but that didn't work out.

So instead we are going to give a free download of our first album to anyone who buys all 5 songs. More details on that once they are all released.

Yes! More Goin' Places!

Earlier I uploaded two new tracks for Playtest, and kinda didn't announce them at all. So, here they are:

First, Lino Gonzalez returns with his single "On the Run". While "Traffic Jam" was more frantic and shreddy, this is a more relaxed, spacey jam. ...That manages to cram 1,015 kicks into 4 minutes, so have fun there drummers. (Sorry, can't find a stream anywhere.)

Next is Israeli experimental electronica duo Start A Fire, with "You Best Not Miss". Obviously the vocal samples have to go away, but even then it seriously wubs up the joint. (That sounds wrong.) Fast breakbeat drumming and weird distorted bass, backed by piano and guitar licks for a bit of cleanness.

Should have previews of those two, along with Goin' Places - "Tongue Tied" and possibly Beyond Threshold - "First Blood" this weekend.
