    Big 4 Of Every Genre?

    So, everyone knows the big 4 of thrash metal, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax, but what about in other genres? Help be come up with the Big 4 from every genre you can think of. Here's one to start it off:

    Eh, you could easily select four big names from each genre and call them "the big four", but really, it's nothing but a title, and means a lot less than what I think most people think it means. I could probably name a "big four" of folk, shoegaze, classical, etc., but I don't think it'd come out very accurate.

    EDIT: Oh, my mistake, the thread is a game, not a question.

    One that gets thrown around a lot is the big four of the British invasion... The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and the fourth being filled in by tons of different bands... The Who, Dave Clark Five, The Animals, etc.

    I debated the two, but I figured STP was the slightly bigger band.

    Doesn't Gothenburg have a very popular Big four, with In Flames, Dark Tranquility and At the Gates? I can't remember a fourth... maybe it's just a big three.
