    Yep!

In "Dead Until Dark" (Book 1), Sookie goes searching for Bill in the cemetery. She finds his grave and waits for him to rise at sunset. When he rises from the ground, he is stark raving naked and it (conveniently) starts raining. He sees her and they get down and dirty in the mud.

Then, after the romp on the mud, he carries her to his house, where they get into his hot tub and clean off the mud (and have another romp).

What's the whole exorcism plot in season 1 relate to Maryann in season 2?
from what i remember, the voodoo lady was a fraud, but tara summoned marianne.

    "Mary-Ann" is "The Maenad", correct?

Alright. Just asking because in the books ("Living Dead In Dallas"), she doesn't have a name, she's just referred to as "The Maenad".

If I may offer an answer to the question. In "True Blood", Tara is drinking and driving when she first encounters Marry-Ann (who is naked).

In the books, The Maenad is said to be a creature that is a follower of Dionysus. She is attracted to alcohol and sin. Both Eric and Sam, who run bars, have to give her a tribute so that she will leave them be, which is why she wanders the woods around Bon Temps and Shreveport.

So, to get back to "True Blood", Tara didn't summon Marry-Ann really. She was there lurking and was attracted by the alcohol.

    Ah...so, it's another variance. I get what you're saying.

I just thought I'd try to offer insight on something that they probably forgot to talk about or eliminated from the story completely.
