I watched the first one and enjoyed it until the silly ending. Good build-up, poor closure.

I think too many people took the first one the wrong way. People expected the flow and structure of a movie, which is not what this is.

The first one was pathetic. I found nothing scary about it. I went to the theatre thinking I would walk out scared out of my mind but I walked out dissapointed. I only found the ending of the movie somewhat interesting, but other than that, the movie sucked.
Hopefully they make the start of the 2nd one more interesting. I didnt like how I had to wait like 45 minutes to get to the 'scary' parts. I also didnt like listening to them talk about irrelevant stuff what they do in their daily routines. I dont wanna watch people get ready to go out or go to bed and talk about random stuff. They should do less talking and random things and more paranormal activity.

I thought the first movie was total trite and worthless. as well as not scary or thrilling of course.

I found it not that good, sure it was creepy, but not scary AT ALL
But if you are looking for something scary, watch...
Amityville Horror
Jeepers Creepers
Ju-On
The Ring
the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Gory AND Scary as Hell)
Hostel 1 and 2 (Again, GORY AND SCARY AS HELL)

The scariest horror movies are the ones that never make it to movie theaters.
Simply because they are too scary. Seventh Moon is a great example of one of these movies. The scariest movie I've ever seen. Period.
