Problem with exporting songs from rock band 1 to rock band 2

Hello everyone,

I've recently bought the export code from the PSN store. And exported the songs to my harddrive. I have also downloaden 1 songpack from disturbed for rock band 1.

The download shows in rock band 1, but not in rock band 2. Also the exported songs don't show in rock band 2.

I have tried to reinstall both rock band 1 and 2 multiple times. Also i have downloaded the export key multiple times. Can someone please give me advice on what to do.

PS: Rock band 2 is bought second handed

but I was able to register rock band 2, so it doesn't seem te be registered before.

It sounds like a region mis-match. What country is your PSN account in and where did you buy RB2 from?

To clarify: PS3 games are region-free, however they do have a download region, which has to match your PSN account. If, say, I was to live in the UK and have a UK PSN account, but I bought RB3 from the US, none of my downloads would show up in RB3. Easiest fix would be to get a UK copy of RB3. Much more expensive fix would be to setup a US PSN account and get a source of US PSN currency (since those are also region-locked).

How can I know that for sure? I bought the ps3 in the Netherlands and as far as I know my PSN account is dutch too.
I bought both Rock band 1 and Rock band 2 in the same store in the Netherlands, the only difference is that rock band 2 was second handed so I don't know if the person who sold it to the store bought it somewhere else.
Is there any way how I can check which region my games are from?

Read the number on the cover or disc of rockband 2 , if it is BLUS-30147 then it's ntsc but if it's BLES-00385 then it's pal.

Most likely your copy of rockband 2 you bought second hand is ntsc which means those songs wont show up as well as the 20 free songs if you redeemed the code for it.

Sorry for being such a noob . But what does ntsc and pal stand for?
Am I right that NTSC is for America and Pal is for europe?

I can see that rock band 1 has a Bles code, and the rock band 2 has a blus code as you told me. So the best option is to find a rock band 2 disc with a bles code?

But basically your rock band 2 copy is useless to you as netherlands is a pal based region and that copy is for an ntsc based region.You will need to take it back and try to get a copy of rockband with the number BLES-00385, you may be able to get your money back if you bought rock band 2 from a brick and mortar store in the netherlands or else you are out of luck.

Oke, I really appreciate that you're helping me. As I know their terms of policy I'm out of luck. Good for me it only cost 10 euro's. So I will try to find a rock band 2 game with a Bles code. At least I know what did go wrong.
