    HEAVY RAIN or ALAN WAKE?

I'm considering getting one of these, but I can't decide which one. I'm leaning a little more toward HR as it seems fresher gameplay-wise and I'd probably appreciate the branching story concept, but AW seems relatively intriguing too. Anyone have an opinon?

I have both of those, though I haven't played either of them yet (my little brother bought the first about a year ago and I bought him the second one less than a week ago and he hasn't been able to play it yet for lack of HDD space for the install).

I'm actually one of the 7 individuals who bought Deadly Premonition and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I can't agree that it's a better horror game than Alan Wake. For the first time in years, Alan Wake totally nailed the atmosphere and progression needed for a horror game. I kinda liked the sim aspects in Deadly Premonition though.

Really can't say enough good things about Alan Wake. Buy it.

Deadly premonition is NOT a horror game, it's a comedy.

Play ME1 and 2. Then Alan wake.

But terrible voice acting is a sacred past time in survival horror games, and Deadly Premonition nailed that aspect
