my roommate is into the twilight fan-fiction scene (yeah, i know) and they're doing all these online auctions where people can be involved in future stories and they've raised almost $90,000 with several more days to go.

unfortunately, i forgot what the proceeds are going to, but i'm pretty sure it was something warm and cuddly.

If I had $161 million dollars I'd buy tickets and snacks for this movie. Then, I'd generously give away the tickets to random people. But I would keep the snacks. Everybody knows movie theater popcorn is legit.

161 million in 5 days is by no means a disappointment. Only 6 movies in history have made more in 5 days. It's also the 8th fastest to hit 150 million. Not to mention it holds I believe the 2nd or 3rd highest opening day.

Twihards are rabid, I tells ya! New Moon and Eclipse are among the fastest moneymaking movies in existence.

And for proof I'm not blowingit out my ass:

And on a budget of 68 million, that's a disappointment?
