Grew up with "Seperation". Never had MC on SNES. My friend who had Sega had "Maximum". I go with SA.

Final Fight (snes ver.) might have something to say about that.

Separation Anxiety was the only one I owned/played.
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?

I was really lukewarm on Separation Anxiety because I was getting out of Spiderman at the time that game and series came out.

I also didn't get all the hype about Maximum Carnage. I felt like the comic series dragged on and on without any relevant story (just a string of fights, which I guess is perfect to base a video game on) and the game was the same way (fight after fight with street punks and fat street punks, boss battles against the same few villains over and over). And I also remember the hype that "GREEN JELLY did the MUSIC!", which means "Green Jelly did SOME music, which was downgraded to lyricless synth"

As far as Spiderman brawlers go, I'll take the Sega arcade game anytime
