What's wrong with Avenged Sevenfold?

What is wrong with Avenged Sevenfold? It seems that quite a few people on these forums really hate them and I would like to know the reason.

I don't mean not liking their music, I mean that some people are really against this band, if you know what I'm trying to say.

I don't think they're hated because of musical preference so much as it's what all the turds in random online play constantly keep picking. I don't care what song it is, if I have to play it a bajillion times, I'm going to get sick of the sound. Part of it's musical preference for sure, but a chunk is the online thing.

I don't like their sound and I definitely don't like how they're overplayed.

I hate people who overplay them too but I still love the band.

The reason I made this was because some people were completely against the band in general for reasons other than not liking their music and I can't remember what it was. It was nothing to do with rock band either.
