    Trout Mask Replica

Here's what my next post is about: Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart. I don't know if I should get it or not. The reviews are very good, but I've heard it's kind of weird. I've listened to a few songs and loved it so far! "Frownland" is good and "Ella Guru"'s chorus kinda scares me, but "Moonlight on Vermont is great. So here's the line. Should I get the CD, or is it just a weird album to be left alone?

i'm not a huge beefheart fan, but it's simply essential for any fan of odd music.

I can vouch for the album as well, I listened to it last month when I was digging deeper into experimental music and it's great.

I couldn't make it through this album. Maybe it's just too weird for me, but it was just plain bad IMO.
