Gold Star help

How do you get the Gold stars. I play med and have gotten 100% on about 40% of the songs I have tried doing them in free play & set lists but still no gold stars. So what is the deal here.

Only on expert do you get gold

Well that sucks I have played hard a bit and it scared me. I play hard on bass from time to time but not guitar. Well guess I wont be getting gold for a while

Is it the blue and orange notes that scare you, or the sheer number of notes and chords? If it's the latter, I can't help there, but the new rule (created a while ago; applied since Nickelback) is all guitar and bass charts on Rock Band must include at least one blue and one orange note, even on easy and medium. Get yourself used to hitting those notes on easier charts, and you won't be as afraid to try hard or expert.

If you're just after the Achievement, there are a few very easy songs, such as "We Will Rock You" on bass or drums and "Ride a White Swan" on drums, that are worth trying.

"We Will Rock You" is also easy on expert vocals, try that. Good luck to you.
