There's gonna be hints on Twitter today regarding what bands are on Rock Band 3, so I'll post them here. Then, you can guess what band you think it is! This is meant to be for fun, so don't assume anything as confirmed. Post your guesses!

Hint 3 - The band formed in the 80s.
Hint 4 - They have 3 platinum albums, 1 of which went multi-platinum.
Hint 5 - This band (almost) played in the 1985 LiveAid concert and broke up in the early 90s but then got back together a decade later.

Hint 3 - They worked with legendary (and funny-named) producer Mutt Lange.

Hint 1 - This next one has an album coming out later this year. Their first album was released in the mid 90s.
Hint 2 - The band was formed in Ohio by one of the original touring members of Nine Inch Nails.
Hint 3 - The band's debut album, which contains one of their biggest hits, went Gold and was recorded in a small house outside Cleveland.
CONFIRMED - FILTER - Hey Man, Nice Shot
BAND 6
Hint 1 - These guys were founded in the 70s, by an English guitarist who previously recorded with Frampton and George Harrison.
Hint 2 - Their debut album, released in the 1970s, sold more than 4 million copies in the US alone, but their only No. 1 hit didn't come until 1985.
Hint 3 - They formed in NYC and their name was inspired by the fact that half of the original members were English and the other half were American.
Hint 4 - Their 1978 album Double Vision went a whopping 7x platinum.
