The Authority has no contral over what HMX ports over to the PS3.
RBN is the greatest invention known to man! (Aside from RB3)

I hope it will make it to PS3 as well. As you can see we have a decent track record for songs making it to PS3. We have no control or say in any of it though. If it were up to us 100% of our songs would port over.

I just saw the State of Shock track up there -- something I had always had lurking on a wishlist and never thought I'd see.

Big kudos. Also really happy to see more Rodrigo y Gabriela showing up.

Definitely one of the authors I really need to keep an eye on -- kudos, guys.
Yes, I'm a bit of a dick. That being said, you'll only notice when someone deserves it.

    Big Light - 'Triceratops"

From the album Animals In Blooms (2010) distributed by Reapandsow

Big Light is an independent rock and roll band from San Francisco, California. Founded in 2007, the band originally consisted of Fred Torphy (songwriter, guitars), Steve Adams (bass) from ALO, Bradly Bifulco (drums), and Colin Hoops (keyboards). In addition to writing their own material, the band also covers songs by modern American songwriter, Nathan Moore. After Hoops left the band in early 2009, he was replaced permanently by Jeremy "Swordfish" Korpas (guitars).

Charlie Hunter - "Athens" and "Fine Corinthian Leather"

From the album Baboon Strength (2008) on Reapandsow

Charlie Hunter is an American guitarist, composer and bandleader. First coming to prominence in the early 1990s, Hunter has recorded 17 albums. Hunter plays custom-made seven and eight-string guitars, on which he simultaneously plays basslines, rhythm guitar, and solos. You may need to hack 2 controllers to properly perform these 2 songs in Rock Band.

Watch Charlie explain 7 String Guitar and talk about Baboon Strength with Flyp Media.

    Converge - "Dark Horse"

From the album Axe to Fall (2009) on Epitaph Records

Converge is an American band from Salem, Massachusetts. Playing a blend of hardcore punk and extreme metal since 1990, Converge has helped to define many of the elements of the metalcore genre. Converge lets their metal flag fly on Axe To Fall when drummer Ben Koller’s galloping beats meet Ballou’s lightning fast riffs as bassist Nate Newton provides a pummeling backbone and vocalist Jacob Bannon takes command with menacing growls on the album’s shattering opener “Dark Horse.” Perhaps Converge’s heaviest music they’ve ever recorded, the foursome invited a slew friends to contribute to the album, and the result was a wall of metal-infused hardcore on a level that’s never been heard before. The Authority is proud to facilitate Converge's Rock Band debut.

Garage A Trois - "Power Patriot" and "Rescue Spreaders"

From the album Power Patriot (2009) on Royal Potato Family

Garage A Trois is a collaboration between four of the most visionary improvisers of the time: Skerik on saxophones, Mike Dillon on vibes, Marco Benevento on keys and Stanton Moore on drums. And while improvisation is at the heart of what the quartet has staked its reputation upon at their legendary New Orleans Jazzfest sets and rare, but in demand, club tours, it's the intricate sonic tapestries, tightly orchestrated arrangements, refined melodies and positively modern approach to instrumental songwriting that's at the heart of their third studio album Power Patriot. These songs coming to The Rock Band Network feature saxaphone, vibraphone and keyboard mapped to the guitar and bass game play.

Haste The Day - "Dog Like Vultures"

From the album Attack Of The Wolf King (2010) on Solid State Records

The Indianapolis five-piece – who take their name from the hymn – have spent the past eight years rolling with the punches, taking the highlights and the challenges in equal measure. Embraced by a global fan base of rock and metal fans, HASTE THE DAY have released four revered albums that have collectively sold well over a quarter-million copies – despite member shifts that might have leveled a lesser band. Always driving them forward was the unwavering adoration of the band's legion of fans, who helped to make HASTE THE DAY one of the most successful and enduring metalcore bands of their generation. Five albums into their career, HASTE THE DAY are still taking in stride whatever their career throws at them. They've played alongside some of their musical heroes, toured the world many times over (including stops in less-traveled countries like Colombia and New Zealand) and succeeded both critically and commercially – and still, they burn with the simple sense of purpose that fueled their earliest days.

    Ivoryline - "The Healing"

From the album Vessels (2010) on Tooth & Nail Records

Ivoryline formed in 2003 under the name Dead End Driveway, releasing an EP and an album under this name before changing the name to Ivoryline in 2005. Soon after the name change, the band was selected to play at the 2006 Vans Warped Tour. While on the tour, they were scouted by Tooth & Nail Records, who signed them in 2007 and released their debut full-length, There Came a Lion, in February 2008. The album hit #25 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and #15 on the Top Heatseekers Chart. "Vessels" was released on July 27th 2010, through Tooth & Nail Records. Produced by Aaron Sprinkle (Anberlin, The Almost), "Vessels" showcases a more mature and diverse Ivoryline than was heard on their previous record. "We just started writing," says vocalist Jeremy Gray. "We didn't really have a plan or agenda for the record. We just wrote what was on our hearts and hashed out the songs together. We had ample time to get the songs just the way we wanted and had a blast writing and recording the record. It really was one of the most exciting, joy-filled times of my life." Joined by Guitarist Dusty Kittle, Bassist Robert Woodward and Drummer Wesley Hart, Gray and Ivoryline began taking the band's sound to a new level and meaning.

    Lettuce - "The Last Suppit"

From the album Rage! (2008) on Royal Family Records

Lettuce, the seven-person all-star collective originally formed in 1992, returns to the funk jazz forefront with its third album, RAGE!, a hyper-charged outing of tunes that are equal parts artsy and party. The CD is a tantalizing tribute to funk music — paying homage to all stripes of funksters, including James Brown, Sly Stone, Herbie Han****, Tower of Power, the Meters, Earth Wind & Fire, Parliament Funkadelics, J Dilla—music that reflects “our way of life,” says bassist Erick “E.D.” Coomes, who is joined in the groove onslaught by his co-ragers: keyboardist Neal Evans, saxophonists Sam Kininger and Ryan Zoidis, guitarists Eric Krasno and Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff, and drummer Adam Deitch.

    MyChildren MyBride - "Lost Boy"

From the album Lost Boy (2010) on Solid State Records

To say that Madison, Alabama's MYCHILDREN MYBRIDE are a driving force in today's hardcore and metal scene would be the understatement of the year. With over thirty thousand copies of their Solid State Records' debut "Unbreakable" sold in the US, countless tours under their belt and a brand new record in its final stages, MYCHILDREN MYBRIDE (Matthew Hasting - Vocals, Robert Bloomfield - Guitar, Dan Alvarado - Guitar, and Joe Lengson - Bass) are ready to keep the ball rolling.

Rotary Downs - "Promised Land" and "Bullet on a String"

From the album Cracked Maps & Blue Reports (2009) on Rookery Records

Rotary Downs is an American indie rock band from New Orleans. Morning Edition ranked them among "the year's best outsider artists: musicians whose remarkable recordings went largely overlooked in 2007," and characterized their album Chained To The Chariot as "a stunning collection of psychedelic art-pop songs that play like brilliant mashups of Neutral Milk Hotel and Odelay-era Beck".

    Soulive - "Too Much"

From the album Up Here (2009) on Royal Family Records

Soulive is a funk/jazz trio that originated in Buffalo, New York, and is known for its solos and catchy, upbeat songs. The band consists of Eric Krasno (guitar), Alan Evans (drums), Neal Evans (Hammond B3 organ, bass keys, clavinet). On the track "Too Much" Soulive is joined by vocalist Nigel Hall and "The Shady Horns". Soulive has recorded with Chaka Khan, Dave Matthews, Talib Kweli and John Scofield, toured with The Rolling Stones and have shared the stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder.

    Stan Bush - "The Touch"

From the album In This Life on L.A. Records

Stan Bush is best known for his song “The Touch” featured in “Transformers: The Movie”. An anthem for Transformers fans around the world, "The Touch" was released on Guitar Hero in 2009. “The Touch” from Stan’s latest album “In This Life” (named ‘Album of the Year’ for 2007) was also featured in the movie “Boogie Nights,” on Chuck (NBC), American Dad (Fox), and in two Hasbro Transformers toys. Another track from the album, “Til All Are One (Transformers Theme)” is featured in the new Activision game, “Transformers: The War For Cybertron” released June 2010.

    Ween - "Gabrielle"

From the album Shinola, Vol. 1 on Chocodog Records

Ween is an American alternative rock group formed in 1984 in New Hope, Pennsylvania when Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo met in an eighth grade typing class. The pair became known respectively as Gene Ween and Dean Ween. Ween has a large underground fanbase despite being generally unknown in American pop music. Shinola, Vol. 1 is the tenth studio album by Ween. Released by Chocodog on July 19, 2005, Shinola is a collection of odds and ends that the band put together over the years.
