    New Beatles Remasters Announced

The Red Album (1962-1966) and The Blue Album (1967-1970) will be joining the remasters on October 19th, 2010 in North America and October 18, 2010 everywhere else. They have been remastered by the same people and the same process at Abbey Road as the studio albums were.

As of now the Blue Album is 16x platinum and Red Album is 15x Platinum, so they are smart to release these since they are popular.

This means that the Vinyl remasters won't be released this year, those will probably come next Holiday season. Hmm, maybe October 19th will also see some DLC? hahah, fuel to the fire.

I have all the studio albums plus 1 and Love, so I don't need these, but I might get one as a gift for a more casual fan.

Seems they release something every holiday season. I wonder what next year will bring. Remastered vinyl? remastered Live albums? Digital? Remastered blu ray/dvd movies including let it be? Hmmm

It just so happens that October 19th is a Tuesday. Potential TB:RB DLC release?

On the other hand, lots of CDs come out on Tuesdays, and it would be a poor business move on HMX's part to release new TB:RB DLC the week before RB3.

That's pretty cool, I'm kind of a completionist, so I may very well get these.
