Well, I've never heard of either of these bands, but it's always good to give the obscure bands as much attention as the popular ones. One of my favorite aspects of Rock Band is that it caters to every audience. I can't say I'll buy this week's DLC, but I'll at least listen and give it a fair shot; RB did get me into some of my current favorite artists, after all.

Eh... not really a great week but it's definitely not the worst. I've only heard of the Black Keys in passing, and I only know Neon Trees because Animal was a free download in TapTap Revenge a couple months ago (along with Bulletproof, incidentally). I never could get into the song though.

In some ways, I'm glad that I haven't bought anything in ages. It's frustrating to not have any new content to play, but I know that the floodgates are going to open after RB3's release and there'll be plenty of fresh new stuff pouring in. Besides, it's going to be expensive getting the keyboard, pro guitar, extra mics, and possibly replacements for my current buggy peripherals - every cent I save counts.

It always amazes me the caves people live in. You may not have heard of the Neon Trees, but if you listen to "Animal" and don't recognize it, you haven't been near mainstream radio or television (it's on some ubiquitous commercial I can't remember just now).

Oh, and I swear this guy sets his (presumably annoying) alarm for 6:55 every Friday, jumps out of bed, and runs to the computer in his pajamas, thinking, "Please please please let there be new bands so I can annoy Nolanandrew."

As usual, some bands I've never even heard of. Nothing for me this week.

Two bands whom I've never heard of before. I listened to The Black Keys songs and they just aren't for me...kinda remind me of The White Stripes, only not nearly as good...so no purchase there. Now Neon Trees on the other hand sounded pretty good to me, so I might just make the purchase on those...especially considering there hasn't been DLC that I have liked for the past three weeks (not counting RBN...found some real gems to download there).

Yay... more songs I will never buy. At least it's been so consistently ****ty lately... I don't even get my hopes up any more.
