Ah this makes me feel like we're in the good ol' days always trying to find clues to whats gonna be in TB:RB. But still, I don't think this was a very good choice for RB...
Life is very short and there is no time for fussing and fighting my friend.

-"I'm Losing You" (especially the version with members of Cheap Trick)
-"Gimme Some Truth" (great guitar work from George Harrison)
-"Whatever Gets You Through the Night" (at the very least, it's upbeat enough not to kill a party, plus harmonies)
    -"Instant Karma!"
    -"Nobody Told Me"
    -"Mind Games"

And they went with "Imagine"? Hopefully while they were at it they licensed at least a few of the above songs that would actually fit the game.

as for me, I don't care if it has fun guitar, I am a vocalist/bacolist(bass and vocals) and when I get rb3 I plan on playing keyboards and singing as well so Imagine is a great on-disc song for me.

I'm still hearing a slow song that doesn't fit the mood that the Rock Band visuals set, doesn't sound like it would be fun to play in a video game (especially guitar and bass. What would pro guitar even sound like?), and it definitely wouldn't be as fun as any of the songs I listed.

Rock Band isn't your own personal jukebox. It's a video game, and fun is pretty damn important in a video game. If you want to hear an epic song, pop in the CD or iPod and listen to it there.
