Plenty of awesome bands have not-so-awesome names, though I like the name Sunn O))) a bit. I used to really hate "Godspeed You! Black Emperor" as a band name, but considering how awesome the band is, it grew on me. I've never seen the film, come to think of it.

I love Sunn O))) and all, but yeah, the name was confusing for a while, so I can understand that.

A Silver Mt Zion and the pretentious long name we're making so you can go **** yourself band on the other hand... Is just annoying.

Its from the movie The Gods must be crazy. they would say "Chk chk chk" and "!!!" showed up as a caption.
