Slayer is the only band of the big 4 I have yet to find a song I like.

Anthrax is meh, I kinda dislike Slayer (especially anything they've done recently), I really dig Metallica's first three albums (and can at least respect ...And Justice for All), and I usually find Megadeth good, but rarely great.

-my take on the "Big 4"

Oh, and Metallica was pretty bad when I saw them live.

    Touche.

I've finally been taking a liking to Anthrax as of late. Out of the Big 4, they were always on the bottom with Slayer but, after giving them a second chance, I find I'm liking them a lot better this time around. I'd put them like this:

    Megadeth
    Anthrax
    Metallica
    Slayer

I will say, if Testament or Overkill were part of the Big 4, they'd definitely be #1 and #2 for me.

I'd rather spend my time listening to a band like Vio-Lence than any of the Big Four.

UO: Anthrax's glory days were amazing, as were Megadeth's.

There's a lot of other excellent Thrash out there too. Not big on Metallica or Slayer.
Not removing this until we get some Sunn O)))
in which case this will be on for a while.

on the subject of the Big 4, there are really only about 4-5 albums I can somewhat enjoy listening to anymore.

    Ride the Lightning
    Peace Sells
    Rust in Peace
    Reign in Blood
    Kill 'em All

RiP is really hit or miss for me so it depends on the day, but the other 4 I don't mind listening too

From what I understand; teutonic thrash is pretty much well-liked over the "big four".
