I dig The King of Limbs. It's not a masterpiece or anything, but it's a nice electronic-based album.

Yeah I meant for around here, there's not a whole lot of love for At the Drive-In and it's offspring bands. Although that's probably because they're not really all that great.

Honestly, I'm more interested with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's solo work than I am with ATDI or TMV... not sure it's necessarily "better", but it's more out there.

Going off ORL discussion, UO: Frances the Mute is among the best albums to come out in the last ten years or so. (And it is a damn shame that this is forced to be a UO by nature of the fact that all subsequent albums from TMV were utter blandness.)

I've been interested in checking out his work, what is it like in comparison?

He goes all over the place... some stuff is similar to what he does with TMV, others move more toward use of musique concrete or noise, a couple of his albums verge on being Krautrock... hard to really say specifically. He just seems to record whatever he feels like... and he records a hell of a lot of it.

Nicely said. Radiohead superfans are a depressing lot.

UO: LCD Soundsystem's music and James Murphy's public persona are mildly annoying.
