    The thread is "unpopular musical opinions," not "uninformed musical opinions." Even people who are regulars here are asked to clarify a lot of what they say here. You're not being treated any differently from anyone else here, M_Robbins.

    Grunge has very few notable bands and even fewer who are actually good.
    Grunge is nothing more than a fad that is now dead.
    Grunge paved way for post-grunge which gave birth to some of the worst bands in music history (Creed and Nickelback).

    Actually not going to disagree here.

    It could probably be argued, though, that rock music in general was a fad which started to slip sometime in the late 90s, and has now been driven underground as a result.

    Personally, I'd argue that blaming a band or a style for the acts of its followers is insane, but that might just be me.
