RosaFloydGuy just needs to get his last.fm going so we can see where to rectify his metal listening

Probably next place to go for him would be some doom, some drone, possibly some of the more melodic sludge, and then some of the more instrumental-focused avant-garde metal bands (Virus and Ved Buens Ende come to mind immediately).

RosaFloydGuy, if you're looking for cleaner vocals then some bands that I would recommend other than the ones that were already mentioned would be Budgie, Pentagram, Blood Ceremony, Diamond Head, Rainbow, Dio, Tool and Blind Guardian.
    RB Wishlist:
    Candlemass
    Cream
    Genesis
    Hüsker Dü
    King Crimson
    Kyuss
    Led Zeppelin
    Ne Obliviscaris
    Pink Floyd
    Porcupine Tree
    Type O Negative

I do listen to Rainbow and Dio quite a bit. I despise Tool.

I do listen to a lot of avant-garde and drone. A few ones I prefer are John Zorn, Sunn O)))), Bass Communion, and The Residents.
We need sludgey and droney and stonery metal:
    Dirge
    Sleep
    Bongripper
    Sunn O)))
    Electric Wizard
    Earth
    Neurosis
    Cult of Luna

Looking for ska bands. I started with Sublime but I know most fans don't consider them ska exactly.

    Any ideas?

Can you guys recc me some catchy, but good rap? Stuff like Kanye, Jay Z, Outkast, even Gambino. Preferably something with more meaningful lyrics at times like Outkast, but thats not a requirement.

If you like drone, Barn Owl's album "Lost In The Glare" is a pretty good one.
