So while it is a little lower than the previous two released Ziltoid tracks, the team has decided to leave it as it is. So this is the version that will be released
For what it's worth, I find that slightly lower overall track volume works better for mixes, particularly when RB plays with the track volume even more depending on what instrument you're playing. It also lets folks with high quality equipment use that to pump up the volume instead of possibly compressing the sample and ruining the quality.

Not talking about anything specific here, more a general experience.

I just really don't think songs should be released with poor masters. Longview on the Green Day disc was bad enough, as was Baba O'Riley
    What's wrong with Baba O'Riley?

But, I'm sure there are a bunch of people that are really looking forward to this song, so oh well
Riles, you are being ridiculous. The stems were planned for RBN1 (explaining the lack of keys), but the songs didn't get out by then, and Devin's probably too busy to go back and get new stems. Plus, why make people wait forever to have a fun song just because the keys are in the backing stem and uncharted?

I guess I have conflicting logic, then, for I'd rather have Ziltoid with no keys than no Ziltoid. If someone announces something, they should stick with it. I've learned that the hard way.

The concept for the entire album is Ziltoid takes of the game and breaks it resulting in weird visuals, lyrics being messed up, forcing the player to sing things not there and random guitar solos. The player has to battle Ziltoid over the course of the album to prove rock band is cool.

Catch explained it perfectly. However if you're playing in a band with guitar, bass, and drums you'll also notice that there's a one measure 'full band' solo in there

It wouldn't have been worth pulling it - It's not a problem I'd pay $2 more to fix. Just try to make sure it doesn't happen anymore - I probably won't buy the rest of the album if it suffers from the same problems.

Other than that, though Great chart etc, I'm doing everything I can to give my opinion and yet not be an ass here. :v

Well, if the audio is indeed higher than in HMX DLC, then I don't think it's a problem. If a song is mixed below the average level, it gets very annoying. But a slightly higher volume isn't bad IMO.

To be clear it is higher than the recent HMX dlc (which is quite a bit lower than the older HMX dlc (even from just a few months ago). It's not as loud as the old school HMX DLC but not as low as recent stuff. (it falls somewhere in between).

Hope that clears it up a little better
