DO NOT BUY INTO THE BLACK LIGHT.

A small issue popped up after it hit error 420, and we're pulling it for a fix.

In case anyone was curious what was the issue with into the black light, there's one section about three seconds long where the chords on one section of Pro keys are different chords on H/M/E than they are on Expert.

That's it. So if you play by yourself, or don't play pro keys there will be absolutely no difference from the version you bought (if you've already purchased it).

The Pro keys were tested and reviewed a good number of times (and I myself am not a good enough of a pro keys player to have noticed this) which is why it was a shock to me when this issue popped up out of the blue. I have already purchased the song from the link myself and played it a good number of times, on expert which is why I never noticed the issue (and honestly as I stated above I don't know if I would have spotted the issue if I had played on hard/m/e as I'm not an actual keys player).

So again if you don't play keys and have already purchased the song then I don't see any other reason to pick it up again. I plan on sticking with the version I have as I hardly touch the keys, and I never go online to play with other people (I play local band).

So hope that explains it, sorry that the error got through, and honestly this song had been tested and reviewed in multiple revisions (and I mean MULTIPLE) so this was as big a shock to me that this issue was missed as it was to you guys and gals.

Got a question for you guys and gals that follow our news and what not. As you all know we like to keep you informed and up to date as possible.

Now a side effect of that is when we announce a band or song, that song has just entered into our cycle. It goes into a waiting period (there's tracks before it in queue), and then it has to be authored, tested, fixed, tested some more, and this can take a good long while from the initial announcement to the tracks hitting the store.

So my question is do you want us to keep announcing songs as soon as we've signed them, or wait longer (like when they're about to hit creators) so the wait isn't so long from finding out the song is coming to it passing and being available for purchase?

Just let us know what you'd prefer as we're here to make you guys and gals happy

Wait until it's closer to being released. I've been ancy since you've announced that awesome Cheesy Pop Song band (I forget their name) and that was right after you signed them and now I feel like TIME HAS STOPPED!!

What I'd suggest (and this is the system we're migrating towards) is announce songs when you upload them for their first playtest. The reasons- at that point you know for a fact it's gonna happen (legal can't trip you up anymore), the song would be immediately (or near-immediately) available for interested testers to look at, and you avoid anyone stealing your thunder by saying the song's in playtest.

By the same token, I'd love if there were some authors-only board where we could say "we just signed x, don't bother contacting them" without word getting out. Since, to me, that's one of the benefits of announcing early. But to be truly thorough Harmonix would have to participate too and I don't see them doing that... :P

This is another good example as to why it's better to just wait till Thursday to buy songs.

(That's not a slam on you TAG, it happens)
