I also noticed that E1/Koch has the US distribution rights for all Opeth albums up until Damnation, so... GET ON IT, PEOPLE.
I believe Alt strum works with E1. I'll go poke Ron and see if he can get some for the game for you guys

I'll check out Ace Frehley and see who owns the US rights. If it's a smaller label we might have a shot

Well, since you're being nice by poking another charting group, I'll return the favor: it seems like almost all of Frehley's solo stuff is owned by Universal or Atlantic, except for 2009's Anomaly, which was released on Frehley's own Bronx Born Records independent label, so the latter might be worth a shot (wasn't one song off of that released as official DLC already, though?).

Hey Noble, speaking of labels, have you guys ever tried to get in touch with InsideOut Music? They have a lot of cool prog bands (Transatlantic, Pain of Salvation, Stream of Passion and IQ are personal favorites) that'd be great in RB. I know Devin Townsend is on that label as well (at least for EU releases), so maybe he could provide an introduction?

I'm checking them out now Lex, looks like they're distributed by Century Media and EMI. I'm trying to dig up some contact on them, but so far no luck. I'll keep digging

Edit - I shot a message to Century since we have some dealings with them ala Nevermore to see how to best proceed with Insideout.

Hey Noble, mind if I make a request here?

I just happened across Fit for Rivals, a band from Florida, and would love to get some of the stuff off their first (and only) album "Steady Damage" on RBN. I believe that album was an independent release, but I'm not sure. I couldn't find any good contact info scouring the intranetz, but if you can find anything that would be so completely awesome.

Another band I am thinking of is Operatika. They have some fun metal songs with clean vocals that sound like they'd be good on keys, like "Life Saving Flame". They released "The Calling" through Scarlet Records, an Italian independent record label based in Milan. I don't know how the publishing company being international affects the ability to get tracks, but just thought I'd give it a go.

It's awesome all the tracks you're bringing to RBN. Keep up the great work!
5+ years, 4,000+ songs, 1 awesome developer. Thank you!

We've had dealings with Scarlet (they're responsible for Highlord). They can be very difficult to work with at times, since they have this annoying tendency to just.... vanish for months on end.

There are labels that don't do that?

    ☐ Alexisonfire ☐ Billy Talent ☐ Cake ☐ Cream ☐ ELO ☑ Heart ☐ Kinks
☐ Neil Young ☐ OLP ☐ Sex Pistols ☑ Sublime ☐ Supertramp ☐ ZZ Top

Touche. But I dunno, Redfield's been really good to us so far. Usually we're the ones going silent on them for whatever reason...

I'll see what I can find on Fit for Rivals, Hobbes

I'll refrain from contacting Scarlet since that's Fairwood's territory
