Any way to finish off Powerman 5000's album that you have so amazingly put into our rock band libraries?

Unfortunately no. They've brought all they want from this album (still wish Get Your Bones would have come together). However that doesn't rule out future albums.

So people keep asking me if we like or dislike the music we work with. For the most part we go after bands based on what the fans are asking for, but we do have label partners that will send us what they want to promote their current offerings. So for the most part there's a lot of material that we end up working on that I have had no prior exposure to in the past.

I end up liking a large chunk of what we work with, but there's a few that I end up REALLY liking. So here's a few (not a complete list of course), of songs that have become some of my favorites from working with them.

So go check them out, and maybe you'll end up liking them as well.

I liked this song so much I actually learned to do venues(yes I don't know how to author) just so I could do a schizophrenic venue to fit the lead singer's state of mind.


Engel - Sense the Fire :

I have REALLY grown to like this metal band. This song is catchy, hooky, and is just awesome to listen to/play. There's been some really interesting music coming from overseas, and this is just another example of that.

Just because there's a lot of great stuff coming from overseas doesn't mean that our homegrown metal isn't just as kick ass. The band has a sound that reminds me of Killswitch Engage, and out of the four we released from them (so far) this is my favorite.

I'm not sure if there's such a thing as industrial punk, but if not then this song would clearly make a case for such a genre. With the angry biting vocal style of punk mashed together with the industrial sound of Nine Inch Nails or KMFDM this song really wormed its way into my head.

Anarchy Club - King of Everything :

Anarchy Club is no stranger to fans of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but this song is just fantastic. It's slower and the fans that like those super crazy hard songs might not have fun with this, but the driving vocals are just awesome to sing.

I haven't been in the loop in a while, so forgive me if you've already answered this, but you mentioned a while back that Harmonix rockblocked you on a track. Did that ever get released/what was it? Just curious.

Yeah it was Unholy Confessions from Avenged Sevenfold.

We were in talks with the label to bring the entire first two Avenged albums to RBN, but Harmonix swooped in and snatched this one away from us. Of course then the decline hit, and the label backed away to see how things played out.

So maybe one day we'll get them, but right now it's not on the schedule
