You prefer the Tokio Hotel crap on GHWT over Van Halen?

    this...

I can understand not liking Van Halen (I don't like them either) but not liking Hotel California is crazy...

imo it is the best song on the abysmal GH:WT setlist
    More Ayreon!

I love most of the WT setlist... I don't like the Eagles but that specific song is pretty darn awesome.

I never said I hated them, just that I prefer the rest of the setlist and for the record I still am very disappointed the american RB players can have "Monsoon" but europeans can't outside of RB1.

So a possible analogy is that "Hotel California" and "Hot For Teacher" represent Paramore and the rest of the setlist represents Linkin Park. Linkin Park is a far superior band in my opinion but Paramore is still good.
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

The new CD made it sound like a solo rap album... so i wouldn't even consider them a band now.
    Wishlist:
    The Cure [1]
    Queen [28?]
    AFI [7]
    My Chem. [3]

I agree with the solo rap album concept feel for only 2 songs, "Lies Greed Misery" and "Until it Breaks" were largely focused on Mike's rapping. "Lost in the Echo" had a Hybrid Theory feel to it for vocals (songs like "In the End"). "Burn it Down" had a feel similar to "Waiting for the End" on A Thousand Suns and the rest of the album had a Minutes to Midnight feel. I liked the album and my list is still:

    Meteora
    Hybrid Theory
    Minutes to Midnight
    Living Things
    A Thousand Suns
    Wishlist (possible artists):

    [7] AFI

    [11] Linkin Park

    [9] The Offspring

"Hotel California" turned rock n' roll into old people's music.

On a serious note, I love the lyrics to that song, but the music puts me to sleep, and I don't mean that in a positive New Agey kind of way.

This, my comparison was in fact comparing "Hotel California" to "The Only Exception" (Great vocals but boring on everything else) and "Hot For Teacher" to "Misery Business" (extremely overplayed).
