If ever there was a song that proves the saying that music transcends language barriers it's this one.

I have no idea what this song is about. It might be about puppies and rainbows. Or it could be about drowning puppies and stabbing rainbows.

All I know is I like the cut of her jib on this one, so it goes on my favoritest of the favorite TAG songs.

This is French metal band ETHS with Gravis Venter :

Does this song sound oddly familiar? Like you know you've heard it but you can't exactly figure it out?

Well if you've spent as much time playing Rock Band 3 as I have then you'll know it's one of the background menu songs that plays when you boot up the game. Probably the inclusion of lyrics throwing you off

Anyhow like Anarchy Club, Death of the Cool is one of the 'Harmonix Bands' (Bands featuring members of the Harmonix staff).

If you've played previous Rock Band games you're already familiar with Death of the Cool's incredibly awesome sound.

If you're not familiar with them, and like industrial bands like Nine Inch Nails...then you should get familiar with them.

Mashing two genres together that have no business in the same sentence let alone the same song has long been a staple of the music industry.

More often than not it ends up in a terrible mess that makes your ears bleed and assaults common decency as an affront to nature.

However every once in a while two disparate genres can successfully merge and make something wholly unique.

That's the case with the next song on our best of TAG list.

Taking Punk and techno and merging them into...Punkno...this is Left Spine Down with Welcome to the Future!

If you're tired of the glut of 'core' metal in Rock Band than look no further than our next entry.

From our partners at Season of Mist comes another great metal tune.

This one from Symphonic Black Metal band Septicflesh.

And for you haters of 'growled' vocals there's some melodic vox in there as well. Just give it a chance, and you might grow to love it like I have.

    This is Anubis!

Being so close to the holidays I figured it was time to spotlight one of our faith based songs.

This is another amzing metal track from our partners at Facedown Records.

    Still not seeing Estranger...

It's the best song TAG introduced me to.

31 Days of TAG Dec 27th entry.

This next band is a FANTASTIC prog band (metal persuasion), that was met with an overwhelming hell yeah by fans of the genre.

Now while most people prefer their first track Estranger, for me personally I think their second RBN track Drained is a much better track.

Both songs are great, but Drained shows how the band has matured musically, and that puts it a little higher up on the awesomesauce-o-meter for me.

    This is Vangough with Drained!
