The RB-specific ending to The Greys was glorious, as expected.
    Does this signature annoy you?

Wow, I totally missed out on this track in any announcements, but I love it. They have a very Opeth-like sound to them.

They're between Opeth, Death (Sound of Perseverance era), Morbid Angel, Mastodon, and they're greatly influenced by old school Cynic. Gotta love them for sure.

There's still other authors and authoring groups going strong and bringing out material. But I understand what you mean. We've always viewed this as a hobby (a kick ass hobby to be sure), and aren't concerned with the money aspects of it. Most of us come from a background of loving the game and music, and approached it as a 'holy crap, we get to work with bands AND add official content to a game we all love" mindset instead of a job. Since the genre has slowed, the people and groups that were doing this to make income have obviously had to come to the decision that RBN isn't going to pay the bills and pack it in, or don't have as much time to devote to it since there isn't as much money as there was in the start.

I know there are other authors out there that feel the same way as us, but since there are so many of us at TAG we're able to handle a larger volume of songs. Of course it doesn't help that I've always been very vocal and passionate about this game so I probably post more news, and do more 'cheer leading' type 'everyone here's what we're working on, get excited' posts than most

So being very excited fans of the game with too much time on our hands has definitely helped in the visibility and perception that we're working on 'everything'.

I know there are authors and groups out there that are working just as hard as us, I just can't seem to shut up about what we do so it seems like we're doing more than most

It's a shame there is not really any grindcore in RB. Luckily I happen to play in a grindcore band and when we get to recording (probably June/July when we have lots of time) I will do everything to get our stuff to RBN. I know I'm contacting you guys first I am a huge fan of RB, thank you so much for all the awesome work you guys are doing.

As a TAG author, I agree that there's not enough grindcore in Rock Band, and I'd love to help author some. =D

I paused there and imagined you... in a cheerleading outfit saying
"Put your songs... On rock Band!"
    "R-O-C-K-B-A-N-D!"
"WOO!! YAY!!! WOO!! Come On Come On! Join in!"
