I have a Roland V-Drums but not a converter box so hits won't register. That is fine by me as I like to still select Practice Mode in Rock Band and play along but in the Beatles Rock Band Practice mode you get the annoying miss-hit sound. Rock Band does not do this. Is there a way to shut that off?

Can't you turn down sound effects in the options?

I tried this but no luck- the clicking can still be heard.

Try just going in to a regular song (not in practice mode) with No-Fail on. I don't really us practice mode so I wouldn't know but I don't get the annoying clicks when I play songs in quickplay.
