So has anyone ever thought about Ska music in Rock Band? I mean, its pretty awesome. For those of you who dont know what Ska is, you are missin out.![]()
Simply, ska is ska, but if you had to put it in even simpler terms, ska is like punk, rock, reggae, and alternative with horns added to it. Makes for a very interesting sound
For some good, classic ska try and listen to some Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, or Pain. All very good bands and sound amazing. These bands use horns like Trumpets, Trombones, and Saxophones, quite interesting. Other, more mainstream examples of ska are in the bands Collective Soul and Modest Mouse, they use horns sometime. I actually play Trombone in a ska band called "The Forces of Awesome" and we write our own songs. Pretty sweet, but how cool would it be to be able to play stuff like that on Rock Band
