I have nothing against the song, in fact I love that Mats, but to call it a great guitar song is like calling Leonard Cohen the master of drum songs. There's really nothing too special guitar wise going on in the song. It's main focus is the vocals, and Westerburger does an amazing job there.

Now Marquee Moon. That is a guitar song.

I've always liked the guitar part in "Alpha Rat's Nest" although I suppose the focus of pretty much every Mountain Goats song is the lyrics, so I don't know if that counts. Other songs that definitely count though:

I like the chord voicing although for me a definite Replacements guitar song would be somewhere along the lines of Favorite Thing.
