Since when was "help" ever remotely considered a christian rock song? And since when was christian rock not very obvious? This sounds like wishful thinking by Christians to claim something that isn't theirs as theirs.
Not really. DC Talk covered it in their concerts, so I guess that could be a possible interpretation, but I wouldn't consider it Christian rock.
As far as I know, Christian rock started with Larry Norman.
