I said Neutral. It's not my type of music and in my opinion, nothing can be better then an original Beatles tune, but if it introduces people to the Beatles it's fine by me. It's still their song!![]()

Ah, we are a varied bunch aren't we? But we can get along for the sake of music.
I voted Positive. I enjoyed 60-70% of how they re-arranged the song on the first listen. The best part in my opinion was the new rave-up ending. I think they did a good job of substituting other sounds for the horns. This is exactly what the early Beatles did to songs they covered when they were just a live band, and I like it when they did it; so why wouldn't I like it when others do it to their music?
The guy on the screen looks cool but maybe he is smiling a bit too much. He doesn't start growling or put on a scowl until the end.
The original song was also covered by horn-centric rock band Chicago.
I'd be more than happy to have something like this as a DLC in Rock Band 3. Maybe from Rock Band Network.
If you like this type of cover then I suggest looking into the album "Butchering The Beatles - A Headbashing Tribute" which has some really great covers by some notable names in heavy metal and rock.
Oh? I wonder why that is? I wonder if it is a bad leftover from humble beginnings where for some artists all they could get was a cover song.
