360 Lego Rockband + Mics

Without sounding too much of a n00b, we have an xBox Stealthbox (new xBox) and Lego Rockband. We have drums and guitars x 2, all working fine.

We also have 2 mics, 2 headsets and another mic. All xBox. None work with Lego Rockband.

Is there a special way to get them too work that I am completely missing? I realise that a mic does not have a button to press like the drums, guitars and controllers, but shaking or tapping them does nothing.

Help! I have a toddler that wants to sing with Mummy! :P

As I am unable to delete this thread, I will let others know that I found the answer on the Techy forum!

Apparently I need to have a controller plugged in as well.

For the record, in Beatles, Green Day, and RB3(maybe even LEGO, but since it's the RB2 engine, I don't think so), headsets won't get recognized for mic use, so you'll wanna nab some more USB mics.
