    Hofen Bass Dongle Issues

    HI, i just bought the hofner bass of a friend but i wasnt given the dongle for the PS3. i borrowed a RB1 dongle from another friend but it wont connect. are they not compatible? please help, i just want to get playing that sweet bass. Thanks!!!

    Welcome to the Rock Band Forums.

    Beatles guitars are compatible with RB2 dongles, NOT RB1 Dongles.

    BTW, it's Höfner.

    thanks, at least i know i didnt buy a dud guitar. is there anyway i can get a RB2 dongle? or am i being too optimistic?

    no, they use it for another guitar. I'm in the UK too so ebay prices are doubly high.

    Let me know if you have any luck. I do have a spare dongle, maybe we can sort something out. I'm UK-based too.
