Redfield Records joins the Rock Band Network
Rochester, NY - March 3, 2011
Fairwood Studios has announced today a new partnership with German hardcore label Redfield Records. The arrangement will see Fairwood Studios authoring many of Redfield's eclectic, intense, and popular artists for the Rock Band Network, giving these artists wider exposure and giving the Rock Band community unique takes on some of the most popular genres.
Redfield Records represents an eclectic mix of hardcore, metal, and indie acts from around the world. Operated by Kai Rostock and Alexander Schröder, the label has served not only recognized names but continues to identify excellent up-and-coming artists.
The first tracks from Redfield artists to be released are:
The Blackout Argument - "Satisfying Angst"
His Statue Falls - "Give It Up! Give It Up!"
Further tracks will be announced at a later date. Tracks will be released for $1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track. Tracks will release individually beginning in spring 2011.
Fans of the label will note that they have a handful of German-language artists, including We Butter The Bread With Butter. Nothing announced beyond those two songs above, but I'm certainly pushing to bring some German tracks. I'd love to start working on that market, and the label knows that.
