Anyone using the MSA-P for xbox360 wired up for Pro Drums?
Since the MIDI Pro Adapter is lagging behind in it's widespread release, and my MSP adapted kit has been working great since RB1, I'm thinking I want to add the cymbals output.
I currently have the cymbals hooked up, but they are just wired up to use the yellow, blue, green that the regular pads do. So to do this, I need to know what controller button combo is equal to each cymbal, or a picture of where to hook the wires on the controller, so I can add some wires from the MSP to the xbox controller to have them set those off.

Fishing for easy info.....if anyone's done it. If not, I guess I'll spend a little time and figure it out.

And how in the world did this excellent thread get placed in the Less Rokk More Talk category?

edit: Nevermind. I got a midi adapter and all is well with the world now.

Okay this has probably been answered a bunch but I can't find it. I have a roland td-s set that I've used to play rock band/gh. I use the ghwt drums with a midi cable. I was wondering if I can still use this system to play pro drums in RB3. I've been playing around with the midi settings but I can't seem to get it to work so I just wanted to know if I needed the midi adapter in order to play pro.

No, the GHWT module can't access pro drums. You need a MPA.

They are in stock at Mad Catz direct (Game Shark)

I am posting to this thread because I do not have permission to start a new thread for some reason....

I have a Roland TD-7 and the Wii Madcatz Midi-Pro adapter. For the life of me, I cannot get this thing to work. Madcatz support is TERRIBLE (actually beyond terrible) with this adapter, maybe someone here can chime in and help me out. (Before I send it to Madcatz for warranty service-Where they simply told me to send it to San Diego- no address, no information,etc.... I swear I was talking to a 12 year old)

Here is what I have- Midi-out to the Madcatz (TD-7 has in and out), standard settings on the TD-7. The Midi Pro will verify (blinking light) everytime I hit a pad, so it is responding to the signal from the TD-7. The Midi pro will not pass these signals through to the Wii though. If I go to freestyle, I can press the buttons on the Midi Pro and it will trigger sounds, but the Roland sounds do not pass through. If there are any setting sI should be aware of please let me know, but this thing looks like it is pretty much plug and play as the midi mappings on the TD-7 are almost spot on (pad for pad) with the Midi Pro settings.

Is the velocity wheel set to max?

If it is set to min, it won't work as you are describing.

I'm also posting on this thread, since i don't have permission on the Hardware support section.

I have my Roland HD-1 drum-set and official Midi-adapter for that. By the adapter manual this Roland HD-1 should be supported and also after checked from both manuals, the midi-notes should match etc and the whole thing should be just "plug&play".
But for some reason the midi-adapter led is only blinking the SOS-signal when i connect all the cables and turn on the power on my drum-set.
    Any ideas?

I have already tried with 3 different midi-cables and i also visited my friend, who has the same Roland HD-1 drum-set to try out his drums - but the result is still the same. Midi-adapter is just blinking the SOS-signal.
Am i do something wrong here, or do i have some broken adapter or ...?

Update: Also forgot to say that - yes, the 3-way switch is set to Drums-D -position. And i have also adjusted the sensitivity wheel.
