I've been playing (on a standard "tube" TV with 4:3 ratio display) and the one thing that is absolutely glaring with me is that the only time the screen, which is in letterbox, widens out to like how its like in RB2 is if I'm in the middle of a performance. That's the way I like to play it, but I can't, for the life of me, play practice mode in that letterbox. The screen stays in letterbox and it actually makes the highway smaller. That plus breakneck speed not working there either absolutely ruined practicing for me, I can't even use that mode now. Please make a patch that will alliow the practice screen to widen out like in normal performances and, of course, allow Breakneck speed in practice as well.

Also, it's rather annoying that all the "Impossible"-tiered RBN songs are now just showing up as "Nightmare"-tier. I mean, songs like Guitars SUCK and Death Quota are also showing up in the RB3 store and even this website's song listing page like that, when they're without a doubt some of the hardest songs RB has to offer. It makes referencing what to buy & play much easier. I mean... Headed for the Ditch by Andy Timmons is a nice tune, but it's seriously going to destroy anyone who thinks that baby's Nightmare-quality guitar in a heartbeat, and people would've spent the money duped into getting a Satch Boogie-tier song like a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I played a new RBN song that just came out 2 or 3 days ago and it still has you hitting the cymbals instead of the tom pads in certain areas.hope they can fix this

    Platform: Wii
    Songs: All
    Mode: All
Description: I was told to post here, but not sure if this is a bug or a setup issue.
My standard RB official mic works fine, and I can hit overdrive, but my VOCALS ARE EXTREMELY QUIET. As I said, the vocal bar follows my singing without problem. However, I cannot hear myself unless I literally put my mouth on the mic. I have adjusted the volume settings of the mics, and even put all other volume levels low to make vocals stand out more, to no avail. I have tried connecting the mic directly to the Wii USB, as well as to USB dongles and a USB hub. No difference. Same mic and setup works great in RB2.

    HELP!!!!!

Bring back Score Duels and/or Tug-of-War. We have a lot of hugely disappointed people over here that loved vocal battles.

Bug Report (Well, I'm not sure if it's a bug)

    System: Xbox 360
    Songs: Any
    Game Mode: Road Challenge

I've posted this in my own thread to bring it to everyone's attention but I thought I should post it here too for that same reason.

I was playing a Road Challenge and decided to do an option called Custom Nu-Metal Setlist. The songs that I saw listed when I chose it were indeed all Nu-Metal songs, but I wanted to change the order of songs by band name rather than song name.

So I went to the options and filters menu by pressing "Back" (I was on an Xbox 360 btw.) But then I notice that I still had the option to filter in and out certain genres. I saw that a lot of genres were filtered out and I realised to myself, that this is all the game does to keep you from choosing different songs in the specific setlists.

So I un-filtered everything and what do you know?! I was able to pick Alternative songs, Punk songs, or whatever songs in any genres I wanted in a supposed "Nu-Metal Setlist". Yeah. Just thought I would bring that to everyone's attention. Maybe a possible fix is needed?

I'm on 360 and on standard keys the note sustains do not work. It drops the note and sound. Anyone else have this problem?

I have a suggestion. It would be nice if the game would tell you what Key the song is in prior to starting. It would help a lot on finger placement for the keys. Also, I'd actually prefer if the letters for the Keys were displayed (a la pro guitars chords) because it's easier to pick out a white Letter than it is to figure out which key lane the nub is poking out from.

That makes me sad. Guess I have to go without Pro mode if I feel like playing my RBN songs. Damn...

I am disappointed that tug of war and score duel isnt in rockband 3. I really enjoyed that game mode.

    I play rockband alot.

Please allow the ability to return the note charts to just a plain black background like in RB1/2, and to be able to turn off (or reduce the brightness of) the blue and orange swirlies when the streak/OD is triggered. My girlfriend has vision difficulties and can barely see the notes when there is anything on the path. The new chart style in RB3 and TB:RB makes it almost impossible for her to play either of those games.
