OK, I'm probably just reiterating stuff other people have said already, but I just want to note what I feel is important to me:
    1) Add a filter by review so I can hide all the either awful stuff ("Rehab") and the songs which I have twice in the library (Bon Jovi).
    2) 6 stand-ins. Female Vox, Male Vox, Guitar, Bass, Keys & Drums. Optimally I'd like to see all 5 instruments on stage every time there are 5 instruments charted, but that is a minor complaint ATM.
    3) More characters. I've already created 10, and while I'm not completely against deleting old ones, I'd like to have them around while I create new so I know what I tried and what works and what doesn't.
    4) More road challenges. There is really only 4 of them - 6, 9 , 12 or 20 songs. Why no 15? 25? 30? And why only 10 at all? I misread the info earlier and thought each GOAL would have it's own read challenge. Call me disappointed when i realised that the road challenges mode would be done with in just a week or two.
    5) In quickplay, let me select a venue..
5b) When creating a setlist, let me choose a default venue for that setlist when I save it.
    6) Score the vocals in AIM. If it's possible to detect whether the singing was good or not, then it should be possible to score it as well.
    7) Speaking of Vox, please let us press a button on the controller to activate OD. Even if it has to be done during the specific times it really is a good idea.

I took my pro keys playing self online the other day. There's a few things that I'd like to see implemented for online play.

    1. Playing with random people is even more annoying than it was in RB2. The first group I got into started picking songs, and picked like five songs, while removing any songs I would pick. They weren't talking so I left. The round robin selection from RB2 was nice, and I'd like to see it come back.

    2. Another group I played with picked three songs, two of which didn't have keys parts. I could play the guitar part on the five notes, but I want to play pro keys so I left. Again - not talking.

    3. Still no DLC matching capabilities.

    What I'd like to see:

    1. While in song selection, implement a voting scheme (as seen in Halo Reach), which allows you to pick a type of setlist / prebuilt setlist as seen in the song challenges.

    Example:
Prebuilt Setlist: Yes - Roundabout & Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
    Random 80s Setlist
    Random Motley Crue Setlist

    <VOTE>

    2. The ability to leave slots open for other players while selecting setlists. If I don't have a vocalist, and one becomes available, please auto-fill the slot in my band. Do the same when people drop out.

    3. The ability to filter who you want to play with. I understand that people don't want to be forced to play the minimal list of keyboard songs that are available. I can appreciate that someone may want to play Crazy Train on Guitar; it's unfortunate that I can't play pro keys in that song but it's understandable. People shouldn't be forced to accept me into their group just because I want to play keys.

    4. The ability to search for players with a matching percentage of DLC. That might be too hard to implement, but if I want to go online and play, say No Heroes by You Shriek, and I want to take the time to look for someone with that song, why couldn't I?

I'd like to post that I am experiencing several bugs. Also have some improvements I'd like to see below.

On the PS3 version the game froze twice on the same loading screen. The screen is of the avatars unloading a large black box from a van. Every time I see this loading screen it freezes at that screen and I have to turn the PS3 off and back on again.

Also the loud audio glitch that people have been experiencing, happened about 4 times last night. This is of great annoyance.

Also the game often immediately stops and crashed to the PS3 screen.

Additionally for some reason I cannot see any of the stars of song stats for any song in my music library until after I first played through any song per session. It just never loads this information before a song is played.

An additional bug seems to be with the 'complete all songs in game with 5 stars on any instrument'. This doesn't work. For some reason several songs I completed on easy pro keys with 5 stars didn't count towards this goal and had to be 5 starred again with guitar for it to count. Unfortunately I don't have the names of the songs on hand but it'll likely come into play again when I do the '5 stars on medium' goal.

    Now for some suggestions:

Ability to be able to save your filter view. Such as I set it to filter songs that have key support. If I turn the game off and back on again I expect the filter to still only show key songs until I actually manually change it to something else.

Also the ability for the keyboardist to change instruments between songs in a setlist. If regular mode doesn't support a keyboardist, guitar and bass player to play together than the only logical reasoning for this would be that the keyboardist could select a secondary instrument for use in the set list. So a set list can consist of songs that do and don't have key support and the keyboardist can play pro keys when they can, and switch to guitar or bass when they can't. Instead of sitting out and doing nothing for no reason.

That improvement is also important to complete any of the general band goals. I have to play the set lists once on pro keys, and drop out of all songs that don't have keys. Then play through another time to complete the other songs with guitar. This is rather illogical. Also means that the 'endless' setlist is impossible to do on pro keys. That's no fun, I'm not playing through 83 songs with regular guitar parts if I'm playing because of the keyboard in the first place.

Also another feature of good use would be a way to let people know in online mode you are ready to start. Also an option in between songs to let every player confirm they are ready to start the next song so they have time to change difficulty and all that. But on that note it'd also be nice to be able to see what song is coming next in the setlist as this can be easy to forget.

Also in online mode it'd be neat if your band would be actively searching for band members at all times while in the song select menu. In between set list creation. It seems to silly to leave, then find a new band.

Also the ability for when someone playing keys joins a band that it would automatically filter everyone's lists to songs that happen to have keys. Otherwise why am I playing, so I can sit there and watch everyone else play? That's boring. I'm better off playing single player.

Sort Songs in the Song Finder (by DLC release date)

I am enjoying viewing the new web site. It looks great, and I'm slowly getting used to the new navigation methods, just like in the Rock Band 3 game. Great game, just learning the ropes.

One thing I am having a problem figuring out is: How do you sort the DLC songs by Release Date. NOT the actual release (I see that you can choose any Decade), no, I'm trying to sort by the song's release date to Rock Band. You used to be able to do this simply by clicking on the column title header, and it was one of my favorite features. In fact, I can't figure out how to sort at all now. It seems everything in the finder is sorted by Song Name. I'm sure I'm missing something. I could easily sort by Artist, Song, Source, etc. Now I can't figure it out.

Thank you for your great product!

    SUGGESTIONS: SORTING/FILTERING
Have the option to do more specific lighter ratings. For example, if I can't finish a song on expert, I like to rate it a 1 so it doesn't show up randomly. The issue is, some songs I can gold star on one instrument, and not on the next. so allow us to rate the songs instrument specific. In the case of a band situation, have it average out the ratings. This would help out solo players.

ALSO: On the completed song page that gives the stats, add a "Add to setlist" feature. It would be nice to play a song, and then add it an existing setlist right a way, instead of making a note of it, go to the setlist creator screen etc. If I fail a song, it would be nice to have the option to dump it onto a setlist so that I have a ready made practice set.

I've run across two issues. One was semi-random and the other seems to happen pretty often:

    1. I noticed this when doing vocals. I was doing a road challenge and noticed that my band's logo would show on the drummers bass drum, then the next frame it would just show the Ludwig logo against black (basically default). So it seems that some animations display the logo fine and others do not.

    2. I completed a road challenge, then went back and did quickplay. I chose Crazy Train on expert guitar and the game froze during the loading animation. If it helps, the venue was the large epic one at the end. It froze as one of the roadies plugged in a wire. I thought this was strange so I rebooted the Xbox. I went back in, selected quickplay and Crazy Train again and it froze again at the exact same point. The next time I went in and just selected a different song and it worked.

Please, let us choose which instrument should cover each character from the subtitues for the group.

    Thank you.

Just played through Icky Thump on Solo Expert Vocals in a Road challenge and found the final verse completely broken. It is impossible to do the song on solo expert vocals.
It's nice to have Harmonix officially label me as Obsessive-Compulsive rather than just hearing it from my friends.

Not to beat a dead horse, but ...

Score duels / Tug of War modes need to come back. I know people that don't like "competing" in a music game. I for one think it's awesome, though. It's the only way for two people to play the same instrument at the same time. It's the only way for people to compete in real time (read: exciting for spectators). It's the only way we can have meaningful solo Rock Band tournaments.

I've been watching a documentary series on Jazz, and I'm struck with how individual artists and entire bands used to battle each other in front of live audiences. Granted most of the individual battles were improvisational, but there are other important elements to such an event, such as the excitement for spectators, the fun of taking turns playing parts of the song solo and together, and the fact that competition makes people better.

I'm not saying I played this mode all the time, but I did sometimes, and I just see no reason why it would be taken out. The concept is not foreign to music. It was in RB2. It's exciting and it's fun. Please bring it back.

More Noticeable Vocal Issues that I thought had a 'fix':

Aside from the lag and it being over/under sensitive. It's a very finicky system on registering the talkies at all. I sang 'Inside Out' for the first time with high hopes of finally seeing 100% Both talkie phrases didn't register.
RB animation needs luv & life:

    Chk it out HMX!
